Who We Are

Minto Development Corporation has two joint ventures with North Carolina-based, Brawley, Inc. Minto Brawley Services (“MBS”) serves the non-government sector and focuses on Broadband deployment in Alaska.

Minto Brawley is a Joint Venture with Minto Global, established to perform government contracting services.

Each joint venture helps local or national telecoms meet the expansion needs of Broadband, Information, Technology, and Communications (ICT) services to communities.

Minto Brawley’s team of BICSI Registered Communications Distributions Designers (RCDD) have years of experience designing and implementing systems across a variety of markets, from education to military, with a focus on outside plant infrastructure. When we design your solution, we design it to not only meet your needs today within budget but with the foresight knowing your data needs will only grow.

Minto Brawley will do more than build it. Our Design team will design a broadband network that is compliant with critical industry standards, meets infrastructure criteria, is scalable, is sustainable, and is physically and cyber secure. With so much business and communications riding on expanding, interconnected infrastructure, Minto Brawley exist because:

• The infrastructure needs to be designed to be a consistent, reliable, scalable, as well as follow a repeatable standard.
• The installation needs to be compliant with the design standards.
• The design and the installation need to be secure – physical and cyber security are equally important.
• The resulting infrastructure needs to be maintained and protected.

What We Do

• Provide your project with trained in-house staff and third-party subcontractors who are BICSI or FOA certified.
• Provide or backfill designers, project managers, and technical staff to supplement your team.
• Provide other critical certified professionals for splicing, terminating, and testing.
• Provide third-party independent QA/QC and reporting.
• Provide, through high-level vendor and manufacturer relationships, secure hard-to-get products, expedited shipping, critical path method scheduling support and other assistance.
• Design and build the essential communication system that can interact and communicate with other statewide broadband systems.

Security

•  Minto Brawley Services (MBS) has the in-house ability to design and deliver an efficient, scalable, sustainable, Layer 1 telecommunications infra-structure that is both physically and cyber secure.
• Minto Brawley Services utilizes “The National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST)” as a framework for Cyber Compliance.
• Minto Brawley Services integrates the latest technology to mitigate the newest data threats.

Alaska’s geo-political location puts the State in the crosshairs of global conflicts and the saber-rattling from China and Russia. MBS will design an information and communication technology infrastructure that will help defend against cyber-attacks, environmental interference, and foreign and domestic intelligence gathering efforts. Minto Brawley Services can support all current broadband systems buildouts in Alaska, making government, commercial and residential users less vulnerable to a variety of potential threats.
